Tuesday, Howard Memorial Hospital Board of Directors held their regular monthly meeting. The board approved a motion to purchase the Invenia Automated Breast Ultrasound machine in the amount of $295,679 dollars. This machine offers solutions across the entire breast care pathway, and it’s designed to detect cancer in dense breast tissue that may be missed by mammography.
