Driver strikes, seriously injures pedestrian near I-205 on-ramp in Vancouver

VANCOUVER, Wash. —
A pedestrian was struck by a driver and hospitalized in an early-morning Clark County crash this Thursday

Police received reports of a person hit by a car near the I-205 South on-ramp around 4 a.m.
A nearby deputy arrived on the scene and found the person lying seriously injured in the road.
Medics arrived shortly after and took the victim to the hospital.
The driver of the vehicle that struck the pedestrian remained at the scene.

Eastbound NE 134th Street between NE 20th Ave and NE 23rd Ave (including the entrance to I-205 South) will be closed for a few hours while the incident is investigated by the Clark County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Unit.
