Murder suspect in court, accused in deadly shooting after fight at Vancouver grocery store

VANCOUVER, Wash. —
A murder suspect accused of fatally shooting someone after a fight at a Vancouver Safeway store was in court on Thursday.

Nicholas Martinell-Sterling is accused of shooting someone in the parking lot of a Safeway last Saturday night.
Vancouver Police say there was a confrontation inside, then several people were shot as they left the store.

As they drove themselves to the hospital, police say Martinell-Sterling allegedly followed them and kept firing at the car.
Authorities say 28-year-old Henry Gonzalez died. Three other people were hurt.
