Hot new country artist to play free NYS Fair concert
Hot new country artist Megan Moroney is coming to the New York State Fair. Moroney, who opened for Kenny Chesney at the Empower FCU Amphitheater at Lakeview on Thursday night, will return to Syracuse for a performance at Suburban Park on Monday, Aug. 26, at 8 p.m. The concert is free with admission to the NYS Fair.

Longtime wine shop has new owners who recently closed upscale restaurant in Syracuse
Fayetteville, NY - Decker’s Wine & Spirits, which closed after three decades in business in Fayetteville, has reopened with a new name and new owners. Saint Urban Cellar is now open at 112 Brooklea Drive. It is owned by Keri Levens and Jared Stafford-Hill. The two acquired the wine shop from Dana Decker, who retired and closed Decker’s Wine & Spirits at the end of 2023.

Downtown Syracuse Farmers Market sets dates for 2024
The Downtown Syracuse Farmers Market returns this summer with fresh produce, flowers, specialty foods and more starting Tuesday, June 11. The market takes place from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. each Tuesday through Oct. 8. There is no market on Sept., 3, the day after Labor Day. The market is held in Clinton Square except for June 25, when it will be in the One Lincoln Center lot at South Salina and Washington streets.

The taqueria dates back to the late ‘80s, when original owners Tom and Lupe Bryan began operating a food stand at the New York State Fair.
