Out of 5,000 applicants who applied to the Walmart Open Call held at Walmart’s headquarters this past September, 700 brands were invited to present. Out of those 700 brands only 92 received a deal with Walmart, known as the coveted “Golden Ticket”. And that resulted in an order for 10,700 jars of our next guest’s proprietary hand scrub. South Carolina officer fired after inappropriately touching woman under arrest, chief says
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WBTV) - A former police officer was arrested after he was accused of inappropriately touching a woman he was taking to jail last month, state officials said. The officer, Caleb Hickmon-Payne, worked for the Columbia Police Department when he was taking the woman to the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center in Columbia on Feb. 1.

New restaurant The Black Sheep moving into former Two Chefs spot
A new restaurant, The Black Sheep, will move into the former Two Chefs space near the Stone Avenue and Main Street intersection. Two Chefs closed in October 2023. The concept will encompass a cocktail lounge and restaurant spotlighting Mediterranean cuisine with a survey of Morrocan, Spanish, Lebanese and Armenian cuisine.
