The Valley City Hi-Liners season came to an end on Friday, as they were unable to dig themselves out their early deficit against Grand Forks Central falling by a final score of 12-3. The Knights were able to take advantage of great contact, and a handful of miscues from the Valley City defense which finished with eight errors on the night.

The Hi-Liners had their chances early on in the game stranding a grand total of five runners on base in the first three innings. Central pitcher Aubrey Hensrud however, was able to navigate around the runners on base not allowing an Hi-Liner runs until the 5th inning.

Central was also able to get top tier production from one through nine in their lineup with the nine-hole hitter Ramsey Petron finishing the day with four RBI’s. The top of the order was also stellar for the Knights as Kharleigh Larson and Morgan Tebelius each finished with multiple hits.
