Greyhounds finally end game with Veterans Memorial, record a 49-7 victory

Well, the 2026 Homecoming Game between Boerne High and Veterans Memorial will certainly be remembered as a wild and crazy one, but one that ended with a Greyhound victory. BHS defeated Veterans Memorial Friday night at home 49-7 and stayed perfect at 8-0 and bumped their district record to 4-0.

Northside ISD Teacher Investigated After Nonverbal Autistic Teen Comes Home Bruised

A Northside ISD teacher is under investigation after the parents of a 13-year-old nonverbal autistic student say video footage showed the teacher screaming at and mocking their son. Daisy and Jonathan Pena say they first noticed their son, Donovan, had started self-harming in March, and by April they had pulled him out of the school entirely after he came home bruised and, in their words, unrecognizable.

Parents and students question Briscoe Middle School's response after reported threat

SAN ANTONIO - Parents and students at Briscoe Middle School say they were frightened and searching for answers after a student made threatening remarks against the school. Video shared with us by a Northside Independent School District student shows a squad car as a bus arrived at the campus. Other footage shows parents waiting in long lines to pick up their children, with cars backed up near the school.

Boerne High defeated Veterans Memorial Friday night for homecoming 49-7. The game was stopped at halftime after a fire on one of the poles in the parking lot. It resumed about two hours later but with a running clock and ended at about 11 p.m. The Hounds added two more TDs in the second half after taking a 35-7 lead into halftime.
