RAPID CITY, S.D. — A new web-based platform aimed at connecting Rapid City homeowners and real estate professionals with tradespeople launched this week and has already recorded its first bookings. TradesOn was co-founded by Skylar McKeith and her husband. Skylar is a military spouse who moved to South Dakota from London in 2022. McKeith said the idea came directly from her time working in real estate operations.

RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) -Drivers hitting the road for Labor Day weekend could be facing record-high gas prices. GasBuddy projects the national average will reach $4.03 per gallon over the holiday weekend. That would be 87 cents higher than last year and above the previous Labor Day record of $3.83, set in 2012.
