One person is dead and three others, including a child, were injured after a crash on Largo Road (MD-202) in Prince George's County early Wednesday morning, according to the Maryland Department of State Police (MDSP).
The crash happened in the 4600 block of Largo Road in Upper Marlboro around 6 a.m., officials said. One person, whose identity remains unknown, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A child was transported to Children's National Hospital in Washington, D.C. for treatment of their injuries, MDSP said.
The driver and passenger of another vehicle involved in the crash were transported to the University of Maryland Capital Region Medical Center in Largo, officials said.
All lanes in the area are reopened, MDSP said.
The Maryland State Police Crash Team is leading the investigation.
