Proposition NN asks voters to change TABOR for more K-12 funding

BOULDER, Colo. — Colorado voters are headed to the polls this November, and on the ballot is funding for public K-12 education. Proposition NN would raise the state tax revenue limit under TABOR, allowing the state to increase education funding by up to 2% each year indefinitely. About $241.5 million would go toward K-12 education in fiscal year 2026-27 and $234 million in fiscal year 2027-28, according to the state’s Blue Book ballot analysis.
