Oregon Tech third baseman Tyler Horner was honored as a first-team College Sports Communicators NAIA Baseball Academic All-America selection Wednesday.

The sophomore mechanical engineering major from Twin Falls, Idaho, becomes just the second OIT baseball player to earn the distinction and the initial first-team pick, as pitcher Doug Molzahn earned second-team honors at the conclusion of the 2018 season.
