LSU’s recruiting staff has made another trip to Alabama as they try to take a top-100 player away from Auburn and Alabama.
Joseph Phillips is a 6-foot-2, 237-pound, four-star linebacker from Tuskegee, Alabama, where he plays for Booker T. Washington High School. The Booker T. Washington Golden Eagles finished the 2022 season 6-6 with a loss to Anniston in the first round of the AHSAA 4A state playoffs.
Auburn currently has a Crystal Ball projection to land Phillips and Auburn is a 96% favorite to land him per On3.
Film Analysis: Phillips is an explosive player off the edge and wreaks havoc in the backfield.
