  • Alabama volleyball announced the addition of setter Gabbi LeBlanc, from Desert Vista High School in Phoenix, Ariz., to this year’s incoming freshman class. LeBlanc is one of seven freshmen joining the Crimson Tide this fall, along with Allison Berent, Kyla Dunaway, Lily Hopkins, Callie Kieffer, Kaleigh Palmer and Jordyn Towns.
  • Alabama had eight athletes named to the College Sports Communicators’ Track and Field/Cross Country Academic All-District Team: Brady Barton, Arthur Graham, Grady Shiflet and Jacob Wiggers on the men's team, and Mercy Chelangat, Chelsea Igberaese, Amara Obi and Jami Reed from the women’s program.

  • Former Crimson Tide player Hannah Barber has joined the Indiana women's basketball staff as a graduate manager.

June 1, 1968: Kenny Stabler and Dennis Homan were named to compete in the College Football All-Star game, with the collegiate stars slated to face the NFL Champion Green Bay Packers, winners over the Oakland Raiders in Super Bowl II. The Packers were led by former Alabama quarterback Bart Starr, the MVP of both world championship games. — Bryant Museum
