The University of Alabama football program announced the kickoff times for three games during the upcoming 2023 season on Wednesday afternoon.
The season opener against Middle Tennessee State at Bryant-Denny Stadium on Sept. 2, will kick off at 6:30 p.m. CT. The broadcast will be on the SEC Network.
The Sept. 16 road game at South Florida will be played in the Sunshine State heat, at 2:30 p.m. (3:30 ET), and shown on ABC.
The Nov. 18 home game against Chattanooga will have an 11 a.m. kickoff, and will be shown on ESPN+/SEC Network+. All SEC teams have to appear ESPN+ once each season per their network deal.
The only other game time/TV announced for the Crimson Tide during the 2023 season has been Texas' visit on Sept. 9 to complete the home-and-home with the Longhorns before they join the SEC. The game will kick off at 6 p.m. and be shown on ESPN.
SEC game times usually aren't announced until two weeks before due to broadcast agreements.
The SEC Network also announced that it will begin its 10th college football season in Nashville on August 26, with Vanderbilt hosting Hawai’i at 6:30 p.m. CT.
Labor Day Weekend will include LSU and Florida State playing Sept. 3 (6:30 p.m. CT on ABC). Last season the Seminoles won 24-23 on a blocked LSU extra point in the closing seconds of the 2022 Louisiana Kickoff in New Orleans. This time they play in Orlando.
