The Extra Point: Expectations for Alabama Football's Pro Day

Which players are on NFL scouts and coaches radars?

Alabama football will host their annual pro day on March 23.

The list of participants is yet to be announced, but we know two former Crimson Tide products who will compete: Wide receiver Slade Bolden and 2009-12 offensive tackle DJ Fluker.

Bolden will be catching passes from Bryce Young and 32-year-old Fluker is hoping to be signed by an NFL team after being released by the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2020.

One under-the-radar player that NFL teams will be eyeing at the Pro Day is tight end Cam Latu. The 23-year-old is a member of one of the most stacked tight end classes in the past few years. An argument can be made that the gap between good and bad tight ends in the NFL today is massive.

The red zone threat would fit well on numerous NFL teams as he's caught 12 touchdowns and averaged 14 yards per catch over the past two seasons.

The Pro Day will be airing live on Thursday beginning at 11 a.m. CT on SEC Network and NFL Network.
