24-year-old woman dead after crash on I-244 Sunday morning

TULSA, Okla. — The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said a 24-year-old woman is dead after a crash on I-244 Sunday morning.

OHP says the crash happened in the southbound lane of I-244 near 23rd Street South around 5:30 Sunday morning.

The driver, Cherish Willis, and two passengers were transported to the hospital after the crash. Willis was transported in critical condition and a 2-year-old and 3-year-old passenger were not injured.

Willis later died in the hospital, OHP says.

OHP says the cause of the crash is under investigation.
