Tulsa County-City Library's summer reading program has started and families are lining the river's edge for stories, songs and dancing.
Enjoy "Storytime in the Park," Thursdays at 10 a.m. on June 8, 15, 22, and 29 at the QuikTrip Plaza at River Parks.
Each program features interactive stories, songs and activates encouraging children to develop a love to reading.
Bring a blanket or chair to enhance the storytime comfort, then cool off in the splash pad.
Schedule performances include:
- June 8 – Bubble Stage Show with Dustin Reudelhuber
- June 15 – American Indian Dances with Mike Pahsetopah
- June 22 – Hot Toast Music Company Band
- June 29 – Music with Steve Weeks
The Reading Roadshow or Bookmobile will also be there to sign up readers and checkout books.
The mobile collection features hundreds of items for all ages available for checkout.
All ages can join TCCL's summer reading program and read their way to fun prizes and free entertainment coupons throughout the Tulsa area.
