The program is called Project T.E.A.C.H. standing for Transforming Educational Achievers through Community Healing.
The program focuses on reading, but they also do visual arts, drumming, and social-emotional learning.
All instructors are retired north Tulsa educators who felt last year's program was so successful that it needed to be re-opened in 2023.
The Terence Crutcher Foundation's overall goal is to connect with the community and all of its members and policymakers in order to identify, prevent, and address racial inequities in Tulsa and across the country.
