Tulsa Police Department is investigating an east Tulsa shooting that occurred near East 31st Street and South Mingo Road on Wednesday morning.

Tulsa officers at an apartment complex near the scene reported hearing multiple shots at approximately 1:39 a.m. Shortly after, TPD received calls reporting having heard the shots.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found a male victim with a gunshot wound in his leg.

The man was working on his car when a vehicle pulled up, fired multiple shots, then fled the scene, according to TPD.

The victim was taken to an area hospital and is currently in stable condition.

Tulsa police said the investigation is ongoing and a suspect has not yet been found.
