Tulsa Animal Welfare partnered with Tulsa Parks to host "Fur-ever Home Adoption Day."
This free adoption event is being held on Saturday, 27, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Centennial Center at Veterans Park.
All pet adoption fees are waived today, and each adoption includes a free spay/neuter service, a microchip, up-to-date vaccinations, and a one-year pet license with The City of Tulsa.
For those who can't adopt, can still participate by donating collars, leashes, harnesses, dog and cat beds at the event.
The event will also have live music, games, prizes, and a water truck from The City of Tulsa to provide attendants fresh water.
Another option is fostering for those who can't adopt, but want to help dogs in Tulsa and lower the shelter's pet population.
