On Sunday, some Tulsans marched downtown in honor of Women's History Month, and to bring attention to the work that they say still needs to be done.
Supporters marched around the Guthrie Green to continue the fight for safe and legal abortions.
Organizers say it's encouraging to see so many people show up to lend a voice to the voiceless.
They say some women do not feel comfortable speaking out or just do not feel they are being heard.
"It's obviously a frustrating fight in this state, but I do think that we are making a difference, all of us have continually said 'if we can make a difference for one woman then we have done our job,'" said organizer Kensey Wright. "I think the recent Oklahoma Supreme Court decision that has slightly expanded abortion rights is reflective of the efforts that we have made and even some of the extreme pushback from our state legislature shows that they are paying attention and its causing concern for them."
Along with fighting for a woman's right to choose, the crowd also took the time to reorganize and honor the many contributions of women who have helped shape this country, like Susan B. Anthony and Rosa Parks.
