Suspect turn themselves in for Tulsa murder

TULSA, Okla. — FOX23 was at police headquarters as two teens wanted for murder were turned into Tulsa detectives.

Tulsa police released pictures of 18-year-old Braylon Brown and 15-year-old Cameron Green Thursday afternoon.

They were wanted in the death of 19-year-old Braylee Owens, who was shot through a second-floor bedroom window while lying in bed at the Cobblestone Apartments in east Tulsa March 15.

Police already arrested 19-year-old Sytney Sinan on Tuesday.

Cameron Green, is the brother of Deonte Green, who is currently serving a life sentence for both a murder and rape in 2017.

Deonte's case is one that stuck with a lot of people in the area. He was just 16 when he shot Broken Arrow middle school teacher Shane Anderson to death during a home invasion and raped an 81-year-old woman in a separate incident as part of a violent crime spree.

Ebony Green, the mother of all three brothers, told FOX23's Sara Whaley she realized that Deonte would be brought up, and she acknowledged that they are brothers, but she said that’s where the association stops.

Her concern is, just because they are Deonte’s brothers, they are being treated like they are automatically guilty by the public. She stands by the fact that Braylon and Cameron are innocent.
