Police find elderly man last seen in east Tulsa

UPDATE: Tulsa police say Ghiwet has been found safe and is now back with his family.

TULSA, Okla. (KTUL) -- Tulsa police received a call Wednesday about a missing elderly male in the area of 31st and Garnett.

The missing man, Tesfalidet Ghiwet, is a 77-year-old Black male and is 5'10" and 170 lbs.

He wears glasses and was last seen wearing a black jacket with a white striped shirt underneath, black pants, and grey tennis shoes.

Police said Ghiwet has health conditions that require medication.

Police also said he was last seen at approximately 4 p.m. on Wednesday.
