The Tulsa Police Department arrested three people on Tuesday after they allegedly tried breaking into a home in east Tulsa.

Police were called just before 2 p.m. Tuesday to a residence near 41st Street and 129th East Avenue in reference to three individuals trying to break into a house through the front door.

Officers responded and learned that the victim had come home to find two men and a teenage girl on her front porch. After speaking with them, the three left in a maroon sedan.

After a short time, the three came back to the same house and started banging on the front door and ringing the doorbell. One of the suspects tried forcing the front door open.

The victim called the police and all three suspects left.

The responding officers were able to find the suspect's car at a nearby apartment complex and take all three suspects into custody.

James Demery, Demarcus Porter, and a 17-year-old girl were all taken into custody. The 17-year-old girl is a tribal citizen and will be prosecuted by the Cherokee Nation.
