Man found guilty of child molestation in Tulare County

VISALIA, Calif. (FOX26) — A Woodlake man was found guilty of child molestation last week by a Tulare County jury.

60-year-old Efrain Ponce was convicted of ten felony counts of lewd act upon a child.

The crimes were committed against a single female minor between 2015 and 2018.

He faces up to 20 years in state prison at his Sentencing scheduled for July 20th in Tulare County Superior Court.

Ponce will be required to register as a sex offender as a result of the convictions.
