University of Arizona student Erin Jones, 20, found fatally injured outside home after shooting that left 3 others hurt
A STUDENT at the University of Arizona was fatally shot in a quadruple shooting that left three others injured.
Police found Erin Jones, 20, dead outside of a home in Tucson, Arizona, at around 1:40 am on Sunday.
Tucson police said several University of Arizona students were gathered at the home for an off-campus event.
When law enforcement arrived, they found Jones outside the home with gunshot wounds.
Three other victims were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Jones died at the hospital from her injuries. She was a sophomore at the University of Arizona.

"As some of you may already be aware, our Wildcat community suffered a tragic loss early this morning with the off-campus death of sophomore Erin Jones," the school's president, Robert C. Robbins, said.
"Our deepest sympathies go out to Erin's family in California and across the country, her friends, and her classmates in Tucson and Newport Beach, who are absorbing the heartbreaking news today.
"I have spoken with Erin's family and offered the University's full support, and we will continue to be there for them."
Tucson police are investigating the shooting.
"Any loss of life is tragic, especially for a young person taken from her family and friends so early in her life," president Robbins added.
FLORIDA HORROR
The shooting in Arizona occurred hours before 10 people were shot inside a crowded nightclub near Orlando, Florida.
Among those injured involved NFL wide receiver Tank Dell of the Houston Texans.
Police said a fight broke out during a private event at the Cabana Live nightclub and restaurant in Sanford, a city about 30 minutes north of Orlando.
The brawl escalated as police said 16-year-old Christopher Bouie pulled out a gun and opened fire injuring 10.
Dell was rushed to the hospital but is expected to make a full recovery.
"We have been made aware that Tank Dell was a victim of a shooting in Sanford, Fla. last night," the Texans said in a statement.
"He sustained a minor wound but has been released from the hospital, and he is in good spirits.
"We are in contact with him and his family and will provide more updates when appropriate, but we ask that you please respect his privacy at this time.
"Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone involved in the incident."

Dell had returned to his hometown of Daytona Beach, nearly 40 miles west of Sanford, to visit his mother during the off-season.
Bouie was arrested and charged with possession of a firearm by a minor, use and display of a firearm during a felony, firing a weapon in public property, and attempted homicide.
