SPRING FOOTBALL PRACTICE IN FULL SWING

Coach Fisch and the Wildcats continue their spring practices, and we look forward to seeing you in attendance. Practices are free and open to the public Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays throughout the spring at the Dick Tomey Practice Fields adjacent to the Cole and Jeannie Davis Sports Center. This week will see the team practice at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 30 before holding a scrimmage under the lights of Arizona Stadium at 7 p.m. on Saturday, April 1.

Our annual Red and Blue Spring Game is set for Saturday, April 15 at 3:30 p.m. (MST) inside Arizona Stadium. This Wildcat celebration is always a wonderful time for the family and is the centerpiece of our alumni weekend. You can reserve your free tickets to the spring game by clicking here.

 

 

Come check out our football program as they hit the field this spring and make your plans for the spring game now on April 15. There is a special connection between the Southern Arizona community and Arizona Football, and your support of the program makes a difference in the experience of all student-athletes. TALIE BONDS CONTINUES HER WILDCAT EXCELLENCE

We live our Wildcat Way mission to develop student-athletes into academic, athletic and life champions each and every day. Senior Talie Bonds achieved excellence in an accolade-filled junior campaign, and she is raising the bar as a senior this year.

 

During indoor season, Talie excelled in the 60-meter hurdles. She broke the program record in the event three times and earned First Team All-America honors. Talie isn't slowing down in the start of outdoor season after tying a school record in the 100-meter hurdles in the Willie Williams Classic over the weekend. She went on to win the event as well as the high jump.

 

Talie is among the many Wildcats of Arizona Track & Field who proudly represent the University of Arizona. Her dominant winter has given way to another impressive spring as she continues her championship standard as a Wildcat. Bear Down Talie!

 

STUDENT-ATHLETE SPOTLIGHT

Arizona Men's Golf senior Chase Sienkiewicz has been a fixture in the program since arriving on campus as a freshman in 2019. Chase's career has seen him overcome the cancellation of a spring season due to COVID-19 and the ups and downs of the game of golf. His Wildcat journey has been one of determination. UPCOMING EVENTS

• Beach Volleyball has their Wildcat Spring challenge this Friday, March 31st through Saturday, April 1st. This Saturday will also be Bark at the Beach, where your favorite fidos can run around at Bear Down Beach! Admission is free and there will be free keychains!

• Softball faces off against Georgetown and San Diego at Bear Down Fiesta on Friday, March 31st through Saturday, April 1st. Click here to purchase tickets!

• Men's Tennis will be taking on UCLA this Friday, March 31st at 2:00 pm and USC this Sunday, April 2nd, at 1:00 PM. Admission is free!

• Baseball's three-game series against Oregon is this Friday, March 31st through Sunday, April 2nd. There will be another Bark in the Park for Friday's game at 6:00 PM. Click here to purchase tickets.

CATS' WINS 

• Men's tennis swept against New Mexico State in the doubleheader 7- 0 and 6 - 1. They remain undefeated at home.

• Track and Field's Willie Williams Classic ended with multiple top finishes on the first day.

• Beach Volleyball sweeps the SFA invitational, beating Central Arkansas 5 - 0 and Stephen F. Augustin 5 - 0
