TShane Johnson and his daughter Charli, owners of Big Guns Coffee, appeared on Fox and Friends Monday morning to discuss their business ventures in the area.

Charli, a third-grader at Sunny View Elementary School, and T.Shane, a Marine Corps veteran,  operate Big Guns Coffee locations in Tryon, Spindale and Landrum. Charli came up with the idea for the business and even designed the logo.

“I was featured on Fox and Friends Weekend Last year during their Charlotte Speedway Memorial Day special, and the producer heard about the starting of the coffee business,” said Johnson. “They felt it was a great time to bring us up to New York and have us on the show and talk about how this wonderful eight-year-old came up with this idea.”

The segment, running just over three minutes in length, was entitled Father-daughter duo operates American-made ‘Big Guns Coffee’ company, and aired August 21. It features Charli and her father discussing the driving forces behind the company, and delving into their journey of establishing the first hydroponic coffee farm.

“I was honored and super excited to be a part of the interview on Charli’s appearance with Fox and Friends,” added Johnson. “The overwhelming support she received from the American people on her ambition and idea was truly amazing, and we look forward to growing and supporting our local community.”

Fox and Friends airs each weekday morning on Fox News Network. The segment can be viewed at foxnews.com.
