UNION CITY — The Troy bowling teams swept Greenville Wednesday at Woodcrest Lanes. The boys won 2,270-2,008 to improve to 1-1 on the season and in the MVL. Bryce Massingill led the Trojans, rolling games of 216 and 189 for a 405 series and Cooper Gerlach had games of 173 and 228 for a 401 series.

The Boys varsity bowling get a big win over Norhtmont. Bowling a very nice team score of 2547 to 2432 for Northmont. The first game was very exciting with Evan Jackson bowling a 297 game and the team shooting 1038 to take a 105 pin lead after one game. The second game Northmont makes a come back to win the second game by 33 pins. Now the Vikings are up by 72 pins going into the baker games. Now the boys get it rolling by bowling a 268 baker game to take a big lead going into the last baker game. Up 136 the boys don’t let up by bowling a 200 baker game to win the match by 115 pins. The boys were lead by Senior Evan Jackson with games of 297 and 257 for outstanding 554 series which is only 13 pins off the school record. Great bowling Evan.
