Troy Police are investigating after a 16 year old showed up at Samaritan Hospital with a gunshot wound to his leg.

Police say the shooting was reported to have happened in the area of River Street in North Central Troy sometime Saturday night.

Investigators learned of the shooting from hospital staff and say they didn't receive any other calls reporting shots fired.

The teen's injuries are not considered life-threatening.

The shooting remains under investigation.
