This will be the 24th season that rescue techs have been staffed due to the notoriously dangerous parks.
The Glenn Otto Park is on the Sandy River in Troutdale and HighRocks is on the Clackamas River.
The rivers are running high, fast, and cold right now and the National Weather Service says outer-lying rivers are between 45 and 55 degrees. Officials also say the air temperatures this weekend will only be in the low- eighties and mid-to-low seventies.
