19-year-old shot to death, another man wounded in front of Trenton bar

Police officers responding to several calls reporting a shooting at a Trenton street corner Friday night found two men with gunshot wounds in front of a bar.

Harold Rosario, 19, of Trenton, later died at a hospital in the city. A 28-year-old man, remains hospitalized, the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office said.

The office’s Homicide Task Force is investigating the shooting, which occurred at about 10:40 p.m. at 3rd and Federal streets. The men were in front of the GT Bar and Lounge when police found them.

The bar, which is also called the GT 502 bar in some listings, was for many years the Intake Lounge, and is across from a back entrance of New Jersey State Prison.
