TOWNSHIP OF WASHINGTON—Local authorities have announced a traffic advisory: Washington Avenue Road Closure Monday, March 27 through Wednesday, March 29.
Washington Avenue will be closed to westbound traffic between 7:30 and 5:30 p.m. on those dates while PSE&G installs a new gas main underneath the roadway.
Area residents will be able to speak with the police officers working in the construction zone for assistance on traveling to and from their home.
- On Monday, March 27, construction crews are expected to work in the area of Washington Avenue and Beechwood Drive.
- On Tuesday, March 28, construction crews are expected to work in the area of Washington Avenue and Spice Drive.
- On Wednesday, March 29, construction crews are expected to continue work in the area of Washington Avenue, Spice Drive & Jackson Avenue.
