TORRANCE (CNS) - Authorities Wednesday identified a woman who was found dead in a residence in Torrance.
Officers were sent to the 23700 block of Western Avenue at about 6 a.m. Tuesday "regarding a female down inside the residence," according to Sgt. Ron Salary of the Torrance Police Department.
"Upon arrival, officers searched the residence and discovered an adult female deceased inside the home," Salary said. "There were no additional victims located inside the residence."
On Wednesday, the woman was identified by the Los Angeles County coroner's office as Kassandra Arevaloz, 29, of Torrance.
Other information, including the woman's cause of death, was not released by authorities.
