Project concludes: Controlled burn south of St. George aimed to strengthen plant resiliency
ST. GEORGE — The Bureau of Land Management recently completed a prescribed burn south of St. George in an effort to improve the resilience of native plants. The High Meadow treatment began April 15, approximately 75 miles south of St. George between Mount Logan and Mount Trumbull in Arizona, with daily patrol and mop-up continuing on April 25, said Rachel Carnahan, public affairs specialist with the BLM's Arizona Strip District.
