• Some of the highest scoring boys teams included Great Bend with 81 points, Wichita Home School with 82 points, and Wichita Northwest with 72 points. • On the girls side, Maize South scored the highest with 89 points, followed by Wallace County with 74 points, and Girard with 75 points.

Washburn men's and women's basketball teams both triumphed over Rogers State at Lee Arena, with the women's team winning 56-44 and the men's team securing a 93-71 victory. Standout performances included a double-double from Yiibari Nwidadah and a 17-point contribution from Jack Bachelor. Next stop: Northwest Missouri State.

The boys varsity basketball team took on Washburn Rural in the semi-final of the Championship Showdown on Thursday, Dec. 7.
