MERIDIAN, Miss. (WTOK) - Update:. The severe storms have moved out, but rain will linger until around 5AM for some areas. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect for our area. There are several elements in place that are enhancing our storm threat this evening. One of those elements is a cold front that’s taking its time moving across our area, and it’s helping to trigger showers & storms ahead of & along it.
