Miners girls golf finish a close second in Meadowbrook match Monday. The Miners girls golf squad finished as a close second place in the Meadowbrook match on Monday, shooting a team score of 345. That score was just two strokes back of Stansbury at 343, who has been Meadowbrook’s main competition all season. Park City now sits seven strokes behind Stansbury on the season in region, with Tooele 65 behind them in third. The team has one more regular season match, Wednesday at Wasatch, before the regional championships next Monday at The Ridge Golf Club in West Valley City. The Wasatch match was originally scheduled to be the Miners only home match. However, heavy snowfall this winter has caused the relocation.
