It will be at least another week before a Shenandoah County man will find out his fate for setting a fire last summer.

According to online records, a plea and sentencing hearing yesterday for Ray Kerns of Toms Brook was delayed until next Thursday in the circuit court.

The 37-year-old Kerns was accused of setting ablaze a 120-year-old building that was located on West Locust Street in Woodstock on Friday night, August 12th. He was a member of the Woodstock Fire Department at the time.

Kerns was indicted by a grand jury in November. Among the charges he faces, include arson.
