4 dogs, 7 puppies rescued from house fire in Phoenix
PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Eleven pets have been rescued from a house fire in Phoenix on Thursday morning. Phoenix Fire crews were called to the home near 19th Avenue and Rose Garden Lane around 7:30 a.m. after receiving reports of smoke from inside. As crews arrived, they aggressively began fighting the flames and searching for the homeowners. During their search, they found four dogs and seven puppies and quickly got them to safety.
10 cats saved from early morning apartment fire in Phoenix
PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Ten cats are safe after they were rescued from an early morning apartment fire in north Phoenix on Friday. Around 2:30 a.m., Phoenix firefighters were called to the Elevate at 27th Apartments near 27th and Glendale avenues after residents reported smoke was coming from a second-floor apartment. As crews arrived, they deployed hose lines to attack the flames and search for possible victims. Other crews checked neighboring apartments, and all residents were safely evacuated.
