SPCA PET OF THE DAY: Meet Toulouse, He’s at the Titusville SPCA Looking for a Forever Home

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA — Toulouse is at the Titusville SPCA  and is ready to find a home.

Meet Toulouse, this 5-year-old mixed breed dog is a staff favorite at the SPCA of Brevard located at 6035 Sisson Road, Titusville.

He is coming up on his one-year anniversary at the shelter and would really love to find a home finally. Toulouse has been struggling with some skin issues for quite some time, but thankfully the shelter has figured out what makes him feel better.

He has dietary allergies that need to manage with a prescription diet, and on a few medications to help his skin, eyes, and ears.

Believe it or not, he looks the best he ever has. He may never grow all of his hair back, but it makes him unique.

Toulouse is mostly blind in the left eye, so he can be a bit nervous when meeting new people (he has to sniff you out first), but with time and patience, he will warm up to a new family in no time.

He loves other dogs and quickly became the playgroup rockstar at the shelter. He has never met a cat before, but the SPCA believes that with a slow intro, your cat and Toulouse could become best friends.

The perfect home for him would be one with older children and adults. It’s a major plus if you have a dog too. If you come and meet Toulouse, The shelter will you give you his special food as treats; He is very food motivated and will show you all his tricks.
