FRANKFORT, IL – A local woman faced a chilling encounter last night when she was approached at gunpoint in a parking lot near 28 West Nebraska Street. According to Frankfort Police reports, the incident occurred around 9:30 pm, involved a male perpetrator emerging from a unique one-headlight dark sedan. Described as 6 feet tall and weighing around 200 lbs, he wore dark attire and a cloth mask while demanding her purse.

RACINE, WI (WLIP)–An Illinois man was arrested in Wisconsin after allegedly fleeing from law enforcement. It happened just before 1 AM Sunday on I-94 in Racine County. 42 year old Harold W. Martin of Robbins, Il allegedly fled from Wisconsin State Troopers near Highway 11 and threw what was apparently drugs and a handgun from the vehicle.

BOLINGBROOK, IL – A routine medical emergency call took a tragic turn on the evening of September 30th on Lakeview Circle, Bolingbrook. According to police reports, at 6:57 pm, John Taylor, a 41-year-old resident known to have bipolar disorder and schizophrenia, suffered a diabetic episode. Upon the arrival of paramedics and police, a physical altercation arose, leading to the deployment of a taser on Taylor.
