Suspect in custody after domestic disturbance shooting in Timmonsville

TIMMONSVILLE, S.C. (WMBF) - A suspect is in custody after allegedly shooting a man during a domestic disturbance Monday night on Honda Way, Timmonsville Police Chief Thomas McFadden said.
Landon Bumgarner, 18, of Florence, was arrested Wednesday and charged with one count of attempted murder.
He was identified by a witness who told police Bumgarner “approached the victim’s house with a rifle” and after speaking to each other briefly, Bumgarner shot the victim in the back “causing great bodily harm.”
McFadden said the man is in the hospital in serious condition.
McFadden said more charges are possible.
Bumgarner is awaiting his bond hearing at the Florence County Detention Center.
