A 15-year-old girl in foster care, who was last seen in the Tigard area, is believed to be in danger, according to state officials.

The Oregon Department of Human Services Child Welfare Division is asking help in locating Alyce Butrick, who was last seen in the Tigard area at around 9 p.m. on Tuesday, April 9. She may be in the company of a person named Danny, the release stated.

Officials believe Butrick may be in the Portland-metro area, possibly near Northeast 82nd Avenue.

“Sometimes when a child is missing, they may be in significant danger and ODHS may need to locate them to assess and support their safety,” said a statement from the Oregon Department of Human Services. “As ODHS works to do everything it can to find these missing children and assess their safety, media alerts will be issued in some circumstances when it is determined necessary.”

Those with information on Butrick should call 911 or contact the Washington County Sheriff's Office referencing case #24-0007162.
