SRTC Nursing Graduates Honored in Pinning Ceremony
THOMASVILLE, GA — On Monday, May 6, 2024, Southern Regional Technical College (SRTC) held a pinning ceremony at SRTC-Moultrie during which 32 Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) students from the SRTC-Thomasville and SRTC-Tifton cohorts received their nursing pins. The ceremony commemorates the students’ successful completion of their nursing coursework and clinical rotations. This class of nursing students is eligible to participate in SRTC’s formal graduation ceremony on July 30 and will officially be Registered Nurses (RN) pending the passage of their board exams.

Lockdown ends, all clear given after bomb threat at Berrien County High School
NASHVILLE, Ga. – A lockdown has ended at Berrien County High School after the all clear was given following a search, according to Nashville City manager Hayden Hancock. Berrien County Sheriff Ray Paulk said around lunchtime on Thursday his office received an anonymous call stating that there was a man with an AR15 on the Berrien High School campus who had put out pipe bombs in student bags.
