In a social media post published at the beginning of December, the local restaurant Rosie’s Soup ‘n’ Such - which is located in Tiffin at 122 Miami St - announced that its final day of business will be December 31. For the rest of the month, the diner will only be open on the weekends, Saturday and Sunday from 8 AM to 1 PM.

Fremont woman found guilty in 2022 death of toddler
A Fremont woman was found guilty on multiple charges involving the death of a toddler while in her care in 2022. Kori Seavers, 38, entered an Alford plea on Dec. 1 and was found guilty on charges of involuntary manslaughter, endangering children and felonious assault. She is scheduled to be sentenced on Jan. 19 at 9 a.m.
