Closure of Bozeman's Hyalite Canyon Road extended to May 17
BOZEMAN, Mont. - The opening of Hyalite Canyon Road to motorized vehicles has been pushed back slightly and is now set for Friday, May 17 at noon. "While the road is closed to motor vehicles, non-motorized use of the area is still allowed. Visitors choosing to recreate behind the gate should be aware they may encounter heavy machinery and road equipment. For everyone's safety, please travel slowly and exercise caution around all equipment," a release from the U.S. Forest Service says.
