At least 1 person killed in Pasco County crash; eastbound SR-54 reopens
PASCO COUNTY, Fla — A deadly crash shut down part of a busy road Monday morning in Pasco County, causing delays for commuters. According to the Florida Department of Transportation, the crash happened around 7:20 a.m. on State Road 54 just before Gunn Highway. It appeared all eastbound lanes were closed at the crash site when Sky 10 flew over the area.

According to officials, a call for a structure fire was reported at Cody’s Original Roadhouse in Tampa around 5:15 a.m. When units arrived on scene, smoke and flames were visible and crews had to beginning a defensive attack as conditions deetiolated.
