Reason Behind Muni Long’s Divorce Revealed After 9 Years of Marriage

R&B singer Muni Long, known for her song 2023 hit song "Made For Me", recently announced during an interview with Real 92.3 Radio that she and her husband, Raysean Hariston, have separated after nine years of marriage.

During the interview, Muni Long, whose real name is Priscilla Renea Hamilton, said, "I don’t have time for nonsense. This is one of the most amazing times in my life, and if you can’t celebrate that with me, I’m so sorry, but I’m going to have to leave you behind. I cannot." She continued, " You wake up every day mad, and there’s literally nothing to be upset about. We have a beautiful child, we’re good. We might owe some bills, but everybody has that.”

Muni Long continued to explain her perspective of the separation in more detail and said, “I think it takes incredible strength to realize that this was the love of my life at one point — and he probably could be really good for me if he got it together — but I’m not willing to put my life, my passion, and my happiness on hold for you to catch up. Unfortunately, you might get it in a year…but I’m sorry, I’m probably already over it."

People Magazine reported that in February 2023, Muni Long praised her husband and their marriage during an interview with NPR.

Earlier this month, The Grape Juice reported that while on tour with Chris Brown, Muni Long revealed to her fans that she has a son. She performed her hit 'Made for Me' in dedication to him with the toddler on stage with her.
