Actress Tia Mowry Has Not Been Asked on a Second Date After Divorce, According to Reports

Actress Tia Mowry decided to file for divorce from her husband Cory Hardict after 14 years of marriage in 2022, and according to MediaTakeOut, the single life has not been treating the mother of two well.

After announcing her divorce online, Tia emphasized that the decision was made with love and mutual respect, and that their primary focus would remain on co-parenting, the Independent News reported. The announcement came as a surprise to Alabamian fans of the former married couple as Tia and Cory had often been seen as a strong couple in the entertainment industry.

During a 2022 interview with Hoda and Jenna, Tia said, "I knew when I really started to focus on my happiness,” she said. “I feel like women, we tend to focus on everybody else’s happiness, making sure that everybody else is OK, meaning our children, our friends, our family."

Tia continued to explain herself and said, "There was just an ‘aha’ moment in me where I said, ‘You know what? We need to tap in, see what’s really going on with your happiness. Life is short. Let’s go."

No Second Dates for Tia

According to a report by MTO on August 24, 2024, despite a significant level of initial interest, none of the men who have accompanied Tia on dates have chosen to pursue a second date with her since she embraced her newfound experience of single life.

It’s hard out here in these streets, and Tia is finding that out firsthand..But don’t fret for Tia. The beautiful actress and mom is still maintaining her high standards, and is still hopeful that she’ll find a suitable partner in due time.

Despite Tia's second date request issues, she continues to post on Instagram so her followers can get a glimpse of her life.

In April 2023, USA Today reported Tia and Cory's divorce was officially finalized.
